Procurement Manager Southeast Asia / Europe (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:
  • Build and develop strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with key suppliers for products in Southeast Asia and Europe.
  • Ensure all economical, sustainability and quality targets are met.
  • Establishment of the Southeast Asia/ Europe purchasing division with the aim of achieving a balanced distribution of global procurement channels in terms of first and second source.
  • Master supply chain transformation to new geographic footprints (EU, Southeast Asia)
  • Negotiate and conclude framework agreements with suppliers and monitor their performance to ensure availability of goods within our supply chain
  • Secure proactive supplier engagement on initiatives related to safety, quality, delivery, cost, corporate social responsibility, sustainability and innovation
  • Responsibility for purchasing targets (cost, quality, delivery) in coordination with stakeholders
  • Build Market Intelligence tools for dedicated categories and report on it on a regular basis to key stakeholders
  • Managing the interface with suppliers and internal global customers
Your Profile:
  • A university degree in economics, engineering or comparable or corresponding long-term experience qualification in a comparable task
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and category management with a clear focus on technical FMCG with a proven track record
  • Demonstrated affinity for power tools and electric gardening equipment
  • Strong negotiation skills, end-to-end mindset with solid business understanding and sound judgement
  • Strong project management skills; very independent, structured and goal-oriented work with a good sense for interdisciplinary context
  • Excellent communication with people from different cultural backgrounds
  • Structured, systematic and transparent approach to business processes
  • Solution oriented thinking
  • Fluent English, German and other languages are an advantage
